Being able to sit with your emotions is going to transform your spiritual practices. Any type of spellwork will be incredibly powerful when you are able to sit with and process discomfort, anxiety, and frustration. When you are running from yourself, unprocessed emotion runs the show. Your nervous system short circuits every working you do.
When you’re carrying shit you’ve absorbed from everyone around you, self doubts and fears, low self-image, etc. it is damn near impossible to manifest real power. You need to be willing to come up against shame, pain, and sorrow in order to be a powerful witch or practitioner.
Witchcraft requires shadow work. It requires the knowing of who you are. It also initiates the process, if you’re ready and willing. My early money workings transformed my nervous system and approach to life before manifesting money in the physical reality.
When I first started money workings, I suddenly began purging all sorts of shame surrounding lack of progress in my life, the countless starts and stops I’ve had in business, feelings of being behind, etc. I suddenly learned the power of stepping into the now and knowing my unique power.
Not only that, but I began purging traumas that existed in my bloodline. This is still an active process between myself and my ancestors. But it’s a necessary process. Respect the magic, respect the process. When you do, you will reap the benefits.
What I am trying to say is that powerful witchcraft requires a willingness to see all sides of life. This is why justice magic and baneful work are essential aspects of the practice, even if you choose not to engage in them. We cannot deny certain elements of life like rage and betrayal. We must uncover everything within us to pull from our power in totality. This is how you break taboo and become sovereign.
Much luck and love in your craft.
